Our
Services

Vulnerable people in Bo'ness are at the heart of everything we do.

Through practical love and service, Riverview Community exists to carry the light of the good news of Jesus Christ to individuals in the community struggling with all sorts of hardships.

We seek to find ways to bring practical support and relief to those in need without discrimination or judgment. We work to contribute to the prevention and relief of poverty and to the development of our town in its unique context. We offer signposting and access to free or subsidised education and support services through partnerships with other like-minded organisations.

We are passionate about finding solutions to our town’s needs creatively and organically, collaborating with local initiatives where appropriate, and responding to those needs as they become apparent. Seeking to reach those who are most vulnerable, isolated and without hope in Bo’ness.

Our services include:

  • Community café-style drop-in centre with signposting to other charitable and local authority services.

  • Addiction recovery support,.

  • Befriending and social groups.

Riverview Community SCIO was established in 2024 by Riverview Church, Bo’ness, as an umbrella for the varied activities and projects we as a local church and a local community are inspired to outwork.
